Emma

For the wiseasses a more flattering photo of Emma Goldman taken before she spent 50 years fighting for social justice...

Goodness, she's the spitting image of a young lady who works with my son. Marla has the biggest, sunniest smile that lights up her whole face, and one can't help but smile back. As a full blooded first nations offspring, she knows all about suppression and bigotry, and is fighting it in her own way, by becoming successful and influencing others. She is working through her art and designs. Emma worked through her oratory. It's comforting to know that there are still young women out there who are striving for fairness and equality.
I have the whole Easter weekend off - yay. Make sure you post some more goodies!

Your doctor called and said you should do some travelling to mid-size Ontario cities that start with P to the east of the GTA this weekend. ;)

Kid Canuk, I will get up there when the weather gets more reliable, and my car is serviced so I can feel confident it will carry me through. When that happens, and it will, be prepared for the beer and wings I missed!!!! I'll be the little old grey haired chubby lady.
Have you decided not to blog?

Ok, for the last time! ;)
My muse is in the hospital, regular or psych, take your pick.....
I just can't think of anything that is worthwhile to put in digital writing. I'm conflicted with putting personal stuff up, b/c I'm half extroverted and half very, very private. And 3/4 of the stuff I would write that isn't personal, I can think of many, many bloggers that are already doing it justice better than I would. I literally don't have anything important to say, or that I could live with being permanently on my blog. I'd ask this crew to say a prayer about it, but you're obviously all rampant pagans and atheists. ;) We'll see. All good things come to those who are patient. Either that, or your computer breaks down, take your pick. I WILL let you know as soon as a new post is up.

Kid,
Pagan, certainly. Atheist, no. I adopt Einstien's philosophy..."The universe is not only stranger than we imagine it is stranger than we can imagine."

Not to mention: "Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the former."

And re. your blog "The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources."

Good ole Al, always good for a quote....

You know, I hate that word integrity. It's given definition to a whole chunk of the life of an obsessive- and made it impossible to access.
Al's quote about the universe reminds me of those space-based episodes of Ren and Stimpy. I hear you had to watch them high or you wouldn't fully experience them.
